This is Maori language week, the river's name is Waimakariri. I recently flew around NZ in my CH601UL participating in the Safari 2013. 2 crews from the USA had trouble pronouncing the Maori names on the charts and it made for a lot of good natured ribbing. No doubt we would be the same with some of the names in the states. Great to see the 701s revelling in the scenic south, looks great fun..........
