Newbie saying Hello to everybody in the house

Hi Ladies and Gents, young and Old.....lol. Am happy to be part of this wonderful forum I just recieved my STOL 701 drawings and plans from Zenith yesterday and will start building soon. But would like to say hello to everybody and shear ideas and learn from those who have completed and those still building this wonderful bird. Once again nice to meet you all here and hope to learn from you all.

Steve. Welcome. Read your page. There's alot of guys on this site that know their stuff. You should not have a problem getting your questions answered.

Hello Steve, carefull with the old, maybe seasoned might work better (lol). Welcome, not a 700 builder but good luck with your build. Don't hesitate talking to the factory they have been great with me and my questions or problems.

Thanks for the reply everybody both seasoned and non seasoned .......lol . Well my first question is about the material list for 701 If I could lay my hands of the fuselage material list as I would like to complete the fuselage before covering if its possible that route but opinions are wellcome about this decession. Hope someone could help me with the material list. Thanks

Hi Steve welcome aboard, sure you will enjoy the build and trust you dont fabricate too many parts for plane number 2, if you didnt know this fact already,you will very soon be the proud owner of parts for plane number 2, dont worry we all have parts for plane #2 ,and every dam part is not to spec for this extra plane !!

Hi Raymond, thanks for wellcoming me onboard, yes you are right am not going to fabricate too much parts so the bird can soar in the here very quick nd also i still have some parts to fabricate inbetween at night time, so i must not let plane fabrication parts take much of my strenght during the day for the night fabrication.........loooool! Any xmass greetings to you tooo, my wish list? Yes its for one purpose only. hehe!
