Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
As I fly here in the Washington state forested mountains and it's vast areas without suitable emergency landing spots I find myself thinking of a BRS parachute system. I think the 30 or so pounds would be worth it. Does anyone know where I can get the fairing system that covers the external straps? A good looking system would be very hard to self-fabricate and there must be something available out there. BRS, Zenith Canada, and Zenith in Mexico, MO have no useful information. Any suggestions?

The folks that sell the 601XL as a factory built LSA plane have the BRS as an option. They should be able to sell you fairings and brackets and stuff. The company is AMD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_Manufacturing_and_Design
I think they are still operating, but do not know for sure.
