I have two engines for sale a EA-81 and a EA-82 Turbo - I am using a corvair in my CH650 so I will not need them. I bought them from a guy who said they were running when he obtained them. They would have to be rebuilt, I would say.

Best Offer:

I live in Regina SK Canada, I can ship them anywhere but at buyers expense

Why have you decided to use the Corvair engine instead of the Subaru?
Are both motors complete?
EA-82 Turbo Carb or Fuel injected? Computer, wirring?
Are the 2 blocks the same blocks? I thought the EA-82 Turbo had 2 timming belts?
Sorry for all the questions but I am debating on witch engine to install myself.
I have the CH601
Thanks
Ray
I picked the Corvair for a couple of reasons:

1. Although debatable, the Corvair from what I have read has more power, plus if I convert it to a 3100 cc I could get 125h
2. The Corvair is a direct drive, meaning I will not have to buy a reduction unit
3. The Corvair is air cooled, no need to worry about rads and things

I do not know a lot about either the EA-81 or EA-82, both of my are engines are complete. I went to buy a Corvair engine from a guy in Ontario and he ended up having 2 more engines so I bought all 3. I live in Regina SK Canada and I drove a long ways to get my Corvair. I thought if I bought all 3 and brought them back to Regina I could help out another builder close to me find an engine for a reasonable price. I do know that the EA-81 is a dam good reliable engine. Lots of people using them. I just decided to go domestic and of course the reason above.

If you have any other just ask and I hope I will have the answers, I am very new to all of this

I wish I would have known of my plans earlier as I just drove from Fort-Erie (border of Buffalo) to Vancouver BC.
Are both engines Carburated or fuel injected?
What price are you looking to get for them?
Thanks
Ray

Hi Doug, Any luck on selling your engines? I was thinking about picking up a EA-81 as a spare or for parts if the price was right. I'm right in Regina so that would make things easy. You can contact me at wood23@sasktel.net.
Regards
Ron

What can I expect to get for my EA-81 engine core when I sale it?  Thanks for your help.
