I am wanting yo add an autopilot to my Zenith 601 HDS and am looking for plans for mounting the servos. Anyone done that?

I know that it has been done. Take a look at TruTrak's website. I believe they show the mounts for their servos for the 601. Those mounts will also work with Dynon's servos, which has also been done.
Ditto Jeff. I did the same exact thing. Roll servo behind the passenger seat and pitch servo under the baggage shelf.
But Mr. Thompson is asking about installation in an HDS -- totally different structure under the seats and in the wing root area. Perhaps some of the 601XL/650 information might help him, but his machine is rather different in some areas. I think every reply is from a builder of the later model aircraft.
