Roger from the Zenith factory was unable to participate due to the One Week Wonder project (and the fact that there were numerous pre-flight briefings and time requirements to be able to perform in the STOL demonstrations) and the organizers were unwilling to accept substitutions. We would have loved to participate but the One Week Wonder took all our time this year
We were looking forward to demonstrating the Zenith STOL CH 701 (with 100 hp) next to the special purpose much higher horsepower Valdez STOL planes.
