Canopy Latch
Today, I broke the canopy latch on my 601XL-B. The broken latch is a problem, and getting it unlatched for access is also concern. Any ideas on means to get unlatched and access to interiour? Several pics attached to depict issue:

Don, if I understood well, you are unable to unlock the canopy.
I am not familiar with this particular setup, but based on the next to the last photo, I would try to drill a hole on either side of the bolt and use needle pliers to try and rotate the lock.
Failing that, the next possibility is to cut or remove the flashing around the lock...

Not my favorite feature either. In the event of a stuck latch, I have a slot on either side in the flashing,( so I can see it latched), and push forward on the latch mechanism to release it - with a screwdriver/whatever inside the airplane.
