ADS-B out
Have any of you have any knowledge of Levil's new ADS-B package the "Beacon" ? I was going to use a Trig 22 transponder and accessories to make my XL compliant, but this product seems to solve all my needs and while using a used Garmin GTX 327 transponder, it seems like good alternative. The Beacon mounts under you plane and picks up your transponder code and transmits it. The whole package less than $1,500 and will be for sale at Oshkosh this summer. It is on their web site along with another new product called the bomb

I was all set to buy the Trig22 and the gps unit when I ran across this. I purchased a Garmin 327 transponder with a three month guarantee and a return to service slip from an avionics shop with a 100% eBay rating. Wouldn't you know with my luck, it arrived today, missing as tray screw, 4-40 and the cam lock bolt head for a 3/32 allen wrench is striped. They have a return policy but they want me to pay return shipping! Oh well will see what happens, already cut hole in panel for the Garmin
