Exhaust systems

For those that have a 601 or a 650 and installed a Lycoming 0235 I would like to know what type muffler you installed. It sure doesn't look like there is much room.

Am I a bad builder if I didn't install one?

I have pipes and a heat muff for carb heat but no mufflers

i have no "muffler" on my exhaust system.  most homebuilts dont. i was assuming he was just asking about the exhaust system. maybe i assumed wrong?

My request was on the exhaust system I didn't realize most LSA's didn't have a muffler. Good to know.

Have an o-235 crossover exhaust no tailpipes or muffler brand new.  We are building a 750 and ended up with a different motor. Our plan was to original just straight pipe. Please text me at 417-389-6329 for more info if interested as it is something we need to sell.

I bought a complete cross over exhaust system from aircraft spruce. includes everything you need and fits perfectly under the cowl. A bit costly, but it is the best
