So my struts I think are aging out and getting weak.

I contacted SUSPA for a replacement but raising the force from 40lbs to 50lbs.

Original part #C16-1486 40lbs
New part #C16-18802 50lbs

I replaced mine and upped the pressure through McMaster.  No more unexpected closing.  I think I doubled what I had from 30 to 60 but memory may be off a bit.

Replacing those struts was a huge improvement that I wish I'd have done years ago!  I went with 60 lb struts.
