Anyone use SPRL Fuel Selector Valve?

I'm coming up on the time when I'll need a fuel selector valve.  I looked up Aircraft Spruce and saw the Andair valves, but right next to them was a brand I've never heard of - Newton SPRL.

Has anyone used these valves? Aside from purchasing the fittings for it, any drawbacks?

I installed one in my 750 STOL and have had no complaints, works as advertised. They were also very quick and helpful when I asked some questions. I have no experience of these things to compare it with but the unit seemed sturdy and well made.

I have a slightly used Andair valve /duplex with left /right and return.  I ended up using a Viking header tank and did not need the valve.  See previous post.  make me a reasonable offer and it's yours.  Included are 90 deg fittings.  All AN6  .

The Newton valve is included in the Zenair firewall forward kit for the O-200, if you are planning to purchase it.

Good to know; I was thinking about the Zenair kit, but not quite ready for it yet.  Didn't know that selector was part of their kit....

I didn't notice it on the pick list when I ordered the kit, but when it showed up, I was so impressed with the smoothness of operation, and quality of appearance, I re-plumbed my fuel system to make use of it. The 3 special fittings were included.

I have on installed on my project. Haven't flown it yet. I mounted it on the floor under the center console, and used an extension to link the valve to the control know that is on the top of the console. This way, there is no low point in my fuel line except the gascolator.

hi Joe,

What extension did you use? I see Aircraft Spruce has a 12" one with a universal joint but it's way too long and pricey. Is this what you used? I like the idea of mounting it on the floor like you explained.
