Looking to retrofit my 601xlb with a 3 bladed prop. Does anyone have any any experience with purchasing and mounting a three bladed prop on their 601?

And yes, this is a better example where you go from a "fat" 2 blade to a "skinny" 3 blade.  Not a big difference in performance but with the benefits of 3 blades.

I really appreciate all the great info one 3 bladed props! What an education. Thanks again to you all.

We do use them on all Viking engines.  Most geared engines run smoother and might need it for additional blade area due to a lower propeller rpm.
