I might be interested if you still have you 172 or are interested in purchasing outright my CH-640.

Mr. Alexander,

Wow! I am so surprised to hear a response to this inquiry.

Yes, I am interested in a trade but with a family of five, I have to ask what the useful load is of your beautiful plane.

My Skyhawk is a little old.... Ok..... a lot old. She is a 1963 172D with no GPS or "glass" Also she sports a Continental O300. So she is not a hot rod. That is the bad. The good is that she is in wonderful condition and flies straight and true. She has been supremely reliable.

The design gross weight on the CH-640 is 2200 lbs. My finished empty weight came in at 1236 lbs which gives you a useful load of 964 lbs.

As far as your 172 is concerned, I am trying to create more space in my hanger so trading for your 172 would not help me there. I would rather you handle selling it yourself than trading me for it.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks

Geoffrey Alexander
