Carb

Hello all,

I was able to get an 0-200 for a decent deal and I have just torn it down to send parts out. However, the engine did not come with a carb. Any leads on where to get one? Which particular model to get? Other helpful tips to overcome this challenge would be appreciated. Thanks as always for all your excellent advice.

  • Check some of the salvage yards, aircraft spruce sells them
  • pretty pricey, especially without a core to send in

Think what you need is a  MA-3SPA  10-4894-1

I have purchased fro Texas Air Salvage in Texas. They are great people...honest and fair...they have a website listing parts and prices!

I've got an MA3-SPA carb. pn 10-3565-1 that I've had for years.  It is complete, undamaged and only missing the small link between throttle shaft and accelerator pump.  It would have to be brought up to new specs.  You can have it for $200 and I'll pay the postage.
