I'm finishing-up the connection of FWF wires etc to my O-200 Cruzer.
I purchased the Zenith FWF kit, which came with everything.
I had a heckuva time installing the tiny cross pins into the bottom of the air filter mount studs. I'm talking the studs you push thru the filter and gasket and act like a dzus to hold everything onto the sheetmetal carb heat airbox/valve. These are TCM parts - 28306 and 28308. Spruce has 'em, but they're priced at $60 for ONE stud and $32 for ONE tiny little cross pin.
Mine are just fine for the most part, but one had the crosspin break just a bit short. It's holding in the camlock-type box receptacle, but I'd like to replace it before first flight. Anyone know of sources? Safety wire?

Use bolts. I tried the pins. Had no success in pushing the pins through the studs. Besides, the cost of just the pins was was beyond belief.
Funny thing is, I actually succeeded in getting all 4 crosspins in place. However, I broke one off trying to straighten it out after it was fully seated! There's juuuussssst enough crosspin sticking out that it will "catch" the receptacle, but you can keep twisting it. I was thinking safety wire... Bolts would be easiest, I'm sure...
