Our EAA chapter has been donated a 601 TD airframe and separately, a Stratus Subaru conversion. I'm looking for infomation on the feasability of putting together a flying aircraft from the two. The Stratus is new in box, donated because a storm put a tree down on the building the project was in. The 601 airframe has about 50 hours of flight time and was then parted out and the complete airframe less engine and avionics donated to chapter.

My main interest is the reliability of the Stratus (I have no info or bias, looking for real world experience) and would there be a market for sale of the completed aircraft.

Did the stratus subaru sell?

Yes, we sold it at the aeromart at Oshkosh this year.
