The Jabiru engine maintenance manual calls for “a small batch of 5- minute epoxy adhesive combined with a small amount of fiber (such as cotton fiber flock).” Can anyone give me the name of the products
you have used for the replacement of the rotor button?

Hi Joe. I did something different than the manual said. After looking at the issue, I simply used a high temp silicone sealer. I remember there being a bit of looseness when fitting the rotor that may have been their concern. Certainly, the rotor could not separate from the distributor shaft with the cap in place. But, there was some rotational slop, which could over time wear the rotor bore. So, that's what I did. No issues. Unless there is other response from our good members to the contrary..!
Thanks
You can use some five minute epoxy and cotton flock from Aircraft Spruce. Supposedly it holds forever. For five bucks you'll get WAY more than you'll ever need though.
