I don't know why they were built the way they are, they are 6 inches shorter than regular 750 wings and build without slats to mimic the Cruzer but they do have double strut connections. They are also partially solid rivets and 2024 aluminum skins.
I consider them not really having any value unless you want to experiment with them or use the skins and ribs to build new ones using the new factory spars which are included in this kit.
