I’m installing a Viking 130 on my 601xlb. Interested to know how any low wingers vented the mini header

tank at the mini header tank.

I don't think I completely understand your question but I did vent the mini header by connecting the fuel return line on one of the tanks to the mini header.

At the top mini header tank did you use one tapped hole for venting and the other for fuel? Pic tires of your instal would help. Thanks
