I completed my Viking Bungee installation. Thanks for the tips and pointers Jan, I would be disappointed if I hadn’t taken off the powder coating where it slides through the bearings.

where do you lubricate it?

I used lithium grease on the contact points on the outside of the tube where it contacts the bearing and then run it thru the range by putting weight on the nose and bouncing a bit to spread it. I repeat this at least once a year, cleaning the old grease and adding new grease, or whenever the nose squeaks or does not move smoothly.

Depends on your local weather and how your plane gets stored, dust in the air, etc.
