Firstly, you like Donald or Don? I'm a Tony but if in trouble Anthony, so I get it. I've been onto Roger about these W4-9 issues, mine are the short ones at 390 mm that pick up the inboard fuel tank rib only. The plans changed as you know to 780 mm ones, but they fall short of the 2nd rib outboard of the fuel tank, which for my way of thinking is dumb for a doubler. Now you posted a picture of a drawing that I am guessing you got from Roger, or Zenith anyway of the placement of a "long" W4-9, longer than the 780 mm ones. My kit was dispatched in April, the plans changed in March, yet I got old drawings 07/21 from memory and short W4-9s. I asked Roger who's response I've attached. Suffice to say I feel they are handling it on a case by case basis, and not wanting to create a retrospective problem for themselves. If its good enough for people in the UK to have a long W4-9, well that's what I want. My question please is, where did you get that drawing and what length did you end up getting from Roger? I reckon it needs to go out to the second rib.
