I’d like to refine my nosegear bottom bearing a bit. It’s the big

plastic block the nosegear rests in that centers it when weight of wheels. Primarily, I want to get rid of the drill and tapped threads in the bottom and replace with embedded nuts/washers to bolt into from the bottom. I’ve also had to grind quite a bit to get full nosewheel/rudder throws. I’d like to incorporate those cutouts into the basic design. I’ve modeled the part and would like to print it, but the part is machined from Nyloil on my plans which is a nylon with oil embedded in it to reduce friction. Nyloil is only machinable, not printable. Anyone use a different nylon product, or any other material in this place? Anyone else looked at printing this part?

Thanks,

Keith

Here’s a screenshot of the model I’m using. Haven’t split it, or added fillets/chamfers yet.
