Brenda, the best thing about experimental rules is there are virtually none , a good mechanic could figure out how to adapt a atv or motorcycle master cylinder to hand operate the brakes and no faa input necessary, only a test flight period would be necessary, if you were inclined to ask ,.what is your goal?? why hand brakes , I may be able to help . this is not brain surgery
Contact Zenith - they've assisted in the modification of at least one plane to hand controls.

Matco has a brake cylinder that works with a bicycle type brake lever. I thought about it, but didn't pursue it. I don't know what max weight it would accommodate. My 601 has a single lever hand brake (no differential breaking). That let the rudder pedals be move about 4in. forward. The plumbing should be simpler than any configuration of toe brakes.
Brenda, I am new to this forum; I searched hand controls and you popped up; I am looking for some direction, are you familiar with this topic of hand controls? I am a VFR private pilot with time in a cessna 172 mostly; have developed a weakness in one leg, making it more difficult to steer with my feet, both rudder and brake; looking for alternatives and someone suggested the 750; I have never considered a home-built before;
appreciate any guidance.
