I am finding some conflicting pictures of the throttle rod and linkages: in the "homebuilt help" video, the assembly is on the engine side - but in the (Jabiru-provided) zenair installation manual, it is inside the cockpit... (see attached pix)
Is the cockpit installation an option? Or is it the new, recommended position? Or ...?

Since I have dual sticks, I mounted my throttle on the center console with the cable passing through the firewall directly to the carb. This eliminates the intermediate linkages and either seat occupant has access to the throttle.
(This is an older picture and I've changed a few things on the console, but the throttle location remains the same.)
