wheel skates for easy lateral moving of aircraft in tight spaces
My building space is at a premium and I need to move my aircraft laterally every day to clear a space for my wife's car. I have it on saw horses which sit on platforms with castoring wheels, and I wish to replicate this with similar flexibility once my aircraft is on its wheels.
Does anyone know of a product, my Googling has come up short, or has anyone made easy to use skates for their hangar storage solution?

How about modifying some small dollies like this:
If you have a smooth floor, I think it would work great. Just chock them when you're working on the fuselage so it doesn't shift. Do you have a store similar to Harbor Freight "down under?"

Hi John,
I'm looking for something that possibly has an over centre lift function, something I can slide either side of a main gear, stand on something and have it rise up and lock. I suppose I could keep it permanently in the ones you suggest, I was interested whether there was a quick removable and install variety. That's a good idea for a permanent solution though whilst building. I also can see merit in something more complex just for normal hangar use. We have a Harbor Freight equivalent, probably twice the price being a lot smaller market but that's the way it is.

Do a search for auto wheel skates. There are quite a few. Cheapest I saw was about $100.
