Hello Carlos,  Those are agricultural nylon sprayer fittings.  I'm not sure what size I used, but I recall browsing the ag supply section of a local hardware store to find something reasonably sized that would thread into the slider plates with minimal modification.  I had to sand off one of the threaded sides to shorten the part, and enlarge the interior hole slightly to allow the steering rods to pass freely.  It's been working great.  They are something like this, but not sure the exact size.  https://www.grainger.com/product/3JEH4?gucid=N:N:PS:Paid:GGL:CSM-22...

Do you remember what type of nuts you used on the rods going through the firewall?

They do not look like the nylon seal fittings (282-N) form AS&S... ?
