This is a rear view of the 2 x 6 bending bed! The notches you see are for the 8" - "C" clamps... there are 5 and the 8" ones work the best don't waste your money buying smaller ones!
The bending bed is surpported on 2 x 4 - 10" at 12" centers at each hinge location. The 2 x 4 surpports are then screwed down to the table. The supports allow enough room for the "C" to slide up close over the radius board ard will actually stand up in place while you remove the part! The notches are 1" x 1.5". Select the location for the notch... measure up 1" make a mark and then drill a 1" hole and then cut each side with a jig saw... it's just that easy!
