CH750 Wheel Penetration Skis
Today I installed the wheel penetration skis on my CH750. Snow is too deep for wheels and another 25 cm is forecast tonight.

Having spent two winters in Alberta, I can appreciate what you have to contend with. I can also appreciate what we have to contend with here in New Zealand and with summer now upon upon us everything is so different here just now.
I am however like a swallow ..... I head to Cambodia for winter!

With a strong application of throttle and full stick to the rear you can lift the nose ski and (balance is required...so practice) taxi on the mains only. As soon as the nose ski lifts you can really feel the aircraft accellerate. Real deep snow use 5 - 10 degrees of flap on take-off to get max lift. Expect 25% longer take-off runs in deep snow. Alway carry a decent folding shovel, snowshoes (packing runway if needed) and winter survival gear, engine blanket / pre-heater, winter boots.
