Fred,
I looked at a satellite picture that I think is your runway. The SW corner of US 290 and RR 1623. It looks like there are buildings at the north end, south end and mid field all on the east side. It looks like there is a road crossing the runway about midfield. Do you have a wind sock. I have been thinking about flying down one of these days from Burnet.

I appreciate the ideas but I got almost 100 hours (flight time) on the plane. Its been finished for about a year and a half. However, I'm considering some changes. I going to take a look at your website, might get some more ideas. Stay safe.

Fred - We have the same problem here in South Louisiana; wasp and mud divers. So I copied the set-up off Larry Martin's site. I like it...... This site (Zenith Aero) would have been very helpful when I was in the building stage. I would done some things differently. There are still some mods I've seen recently I may incorporate; like your landing light set-up. Merry Christmas and safe flying.
Chris
Fred - Impressive mods in the cabin. Really good ideas. What part of Texas is Stonewall?
