Have you ever been in an aeroplane built by someone you know? I have quite recently and it was a little two-seater. I saw it come together from a heap of metal in the garage. This aeroplane was built…Continue

I have had another oil pressure sender failure. Thats 2 in 25 hours flying. Failure mode as follows;
works fine then you get the ocasional spiking high oil pressure indication of 70 - 100 PSI. This gradually becomes more regular until it stays on 100 PSI. For ground running tests I have connected a direct reading gauge to the oil galery to confirm a normal 40 PSI oil reessure.
Has anyone else experienced similar failures?

Hi group. Has anyone successfully fixed a heavy left wing problem?
After my first test flight I needed almost full right aileron trim to get back to wings level.
I have tried adjusting the LH flap down 3mm but this had almost no effect!
I cannot measure any wing incidence differences between the wings.
There is almost no appreciable wing drop on stall.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello Ian,
I have about 70 hours on my CAMit engine. So far, it is running just fine. Head bolts don't move when checked.

Hello Ian,
I use top-quality MoGas when operating from my home base. I have been doing this for many years. It is rare to find MoGas when traveling so I use 100LL then. Still, around 90% ends up being MoGas. It has 10% Ethanol in it, which has not been a problem.

Hi Ian,
This is my replacement digital tach. The original didn't seem to work very well... This digital tach is lighter and mounts in the 3-1/8 inch hole in the panel.

Hi Ian

Hi Ian
I was just doing my morning perusal of this site and saw your pics so I decided to have a look. On close inspection, I noticed that you have the composite gear so I looked at the rest of your pics to get some more info but could not find any. Is your plane a USA or a European ULM variant? Either way, do you have some installation photos and details of your composite gear and brakes that you can share. Many of us guys have wanted to install the Comlet composite gear to regain some useful load and a more forward C of G but no one has shared the structural mods for a two piece gear install with us.
Many thanks and Merry Christmas

I add a new picture of my bird, you can see, a little bit more, my undercarriage.
When i purchase my plane, this legs are on.
If you need more info, send your questions ;-)
Best Regards
Hervé
now we should call it the Zenith ANZAC group.
You should get the other Zenith builders over there in the land of the long white cloud to join as well.
Chris.
do you want to join the Down Under Aussie builders group on the main page
