Vintage Wheels for a Zenith

I am attempting to give my Zenith an older fighter plane look.  Paint scheme is shown in attached pix.I'm very interested in finding a source for vintage-style wheels.  Wondering what is available out there for the plane.  Also, would I be able to fit small profile motorcycle spoked wheels and tires for the correct appearance?See More

Flaperon Painting Prep Carousel

Getting ready (finally) to primer my plane parts.  I decided to simplify the process for the flaperons.  Rather than take up space and time during the painting process, I mounted all four components onto a single 2X4 for quick painting and moving in a minimum use of space.  Photo attached.See More

MATCO Parking Brake Bracket via 3D Print

For my 750 Cruzer, I wanted to install a secure parking brake system.  I ordered the MATCO PVPV-D Parking Brake valves from Aircraft Spruce. When I received the assembly, I was surprised to find that it had no mounting system.  So, I put on my thinking hat and used Onshape to design a housing.  Came out really good.  Photos are attached.  As is the brake bracket(1).stl file if anyone wants to print their own.The first picture showing the housing in front of the valve was before a final…See More

Dual Control Installation Procedure and Drawings

I have watched many YouTube videos, and have found none that address the Zenith Aircraft Dual Controls installation.  And, I've searched this forum as much as I can.  I find references from years past regarding pros and cons.  But, I can't find installation procedures. The drawings I received from Zenith do not address this option, nor do the installation instructions.  So, I am at a stopping point here for forward controls.Help if you can.Thx.See More

Convert 750 Cruzer to 750 STOL

I received my 750 Cruzer kit last week and will inventory the hardware today, start building fuselage by the weekend.  Problem is a 10 year waitlist for hangar space at all local airports in the Newnan, GA area.I have the room to put a small airstrip in my back pasture.  It will easily accomodate the STOL specs for takeoff and landing, but will not be sufficient for safely handling the 750 Cruzer.  So, I hope to be able to convert the wings and tail sections during the construction process.  I…See More

Propellor Selection

I have a Sensenich Model 76EM8S5-0-60 that I inherited from a friend.  Will this be an appropriate propellor for the CH750 Cruzer?  I am leaning towards a Viking 130 HP motor when plane is ready for power.See More
