Hi Ken, I just bought a CH250 project and was wondering if I could get some info on your cessna nose wheel, I'm in Alberta and would like to fly over sometime if it's convenient.

Thanks Allen

Where did you get the spring loaded steering rods from? How do you like them?

Thanks,

-John

Ken, I really like your shock absorbing nose gear stearing rods. I am going to make a set of these for my 640 and was wondering if you had a part number and source for the springs.

Thanks

Geoffrey Alexander

Ken,
Thanks for the info on your fuel system. I am setting up mine as a gravity system and will tie the tail down to the ground and check the flow in the next few days. On the paint, I used PPG DP48LF Epoxy Primer and PPG Valstar Acrylic Enamel in Chrome Yellow for the finish coat. The primer is kind of an off white color and looked so good I almost did not paint it yellow. I picked this paint because of cost (less than $700 total) and it has a reputation of being easy to spray.

Yours looks like it's not far from flying.
Mine is a gravity feed each tank can be controlled separately. So far no problems after 27 hours. I did leave a spot in my system where I can easily install a pump and small header tank if necessary. I have noticed a crossflow if both outboard tanks are on at the same time.

Nice paint job, what paint system did you use? I plan to paint mine Cub yellow with dark gray trim using the Stewart paint system.

Ken,
Congratulations on finishing and flying. I am plans building and using the Cont. O-200 as well. Did you use a gravity fuel system or a fuel pump?

Thanks Ken,

I hope this is THE summer... but we'll see. I've always said I wouldn't "rush" this project, but it is getting a little silly how long this is taking me. But... I'm still enjoying it, so it all good...

Maybe we'll see you around this summer... Take Care, Ed.
