My 601XL-B is now signed off by FAA to begin phase I testing, however, the flight school in Prescott that I was taking instruction at decided to get out of fixed-wing training. Does anybody recommend another flight school/instructor with an "LSA" in Arizona, that I could contact for finishing my "Sport Pilot" lic.?
Thanks in advance...
Mike

Hi Mike
Thanks for the info on your baggage vent fan. Found a computer fan at Staples. Next will be a vent cover probably from A building supply store.
Fred
Hi Mike
Happened to catch your photos. I'm working on baggage area. is that a vent or a fan on the bulkhead?
Thanks, Fred
The throttle link looks good. I hope it works out for you.

Sport Cruiser worked well for me. I got 5hrs in it and I transitioned well. I think sport cruiser was bought by piper, then very recently sold. So I think we're talking about essentially the same bird. Just be ready to take off when you apply that power. Ground handling is better in our Zodies than the sport cruiser in my opinion. I wasn't to fond of differential braking and castering nosewheel. The pedal geometry on that sport cruiser seems to lend itself to the possibility of landing with a bit of brake on one side or the other... Ask me how I know. I just kept my feet low on the pedals after that. I'm no expert, and these are just my experiences, but I found it very valuable to have at least some light sport experience. They just don't fly like 172's which isn't necissarily bad, just something to be aware of.
