Hi Suzy,
Yes, I'm still out here. My 801 is getting closer. I ended up putting it on hold for a while do to a move to a new house that needed lots of work. I should be test running my engine in the next week or so. How are things up there? Are you guys going to make it down to Copper State this year?
Later...

Suzy,
This is Major Roger Lundin. I'm a 601xl builder - 90% complete, 90% to go. In my fire-sale 2006 quickbuild kit (not complete). I ended up with flap motor for the 801. Its just taking up space in my shed.
Could you throw this out on the 801 forum if someone is looking for this part. Never installed. my email is jovis52@juno.com.
Thanks

We are getting close to Completing my 801. Could you possibly let me know how I can contact you, re possibly getting some dual time for insurance purposes. I live in Grand Junction. My e-mail address. bobcaskey@acsol.net. My insurance carrier is asking for this before they insure me on N801BZ maiden flight.
Thanks Bob Caskey

Hi,
It seems that after completing the construction of our aircraft and showing the first flight, the interest in viewing or participating on the website falls off. I have been following the (backcountrypilot.org) site, which seems to have an active group of men and women in the northwest. The most popular thread on this site is (where did you fly today?). It now has seventy-six pages of flights. Most are not long journeys, but places in their local area - discussions of where they flew for meals, camping, fishing, equipment, tie downs, and so on. I find this interesting and think, gee if I ever get into that area I would like to experience that also. Also discussed are upcoming flights.
Diana, the woman who gave us her car in Lamar, MO, I found out after the fact, was on a grass strip tour and was grounded by weather five miles from my home. Crap, if only we had known.
The details of our trip would not have been written if Sebastian had not requested it.
I see Suzy Patey posted bits of her trip to Mexico. I do hope she is encouraged to put together a detailed description of her adventure.
What I am trying to suggest is that the update section of (my plane) also have a spot for (where did you fly your zenith today?) in the hope of adding additional interest to the site.

Thanks for reading,
Temos

Hello - I enjoyed your pictures of your 801. I was wondering where you purchased your door trim pieces? Or did you fabricate them yourself. From looking at all your pictures and the type of aircraft - I am guessing you built them yourself. Thanks -- Dennis Krummel
