I would like to ask if anyone has added or built into their kit planes, the XFlight autopilot system? This has been described in Sport Aviation magazine and HomeBuiltHelp.Gonzo driverContinue
I have completed the tail structures, flaps, slats, firewall, and I am now working on the aft fuselage. I spend about 20-24 hours a week unless out of town. I also bought a lightly used Rotax 912 ULS and it will be arriving here in Edmonds, WA in mid February.
With the fuselage skins connected, it is starting to resemble a real airplane!! Yeah!
The Rotax purchase fell through and so I bought a Viking 110. As of today, November 26, 2020, my aircraft has 220 hours w/o mishap. My Viking is a terrific engine. The stol 750 is a joy to fly. I changed from the bungee to the Zenith donut front suspension and have found my rudder is so much more facile. Now to expand my horizons.
