It all started in a dark, damp, fuel and oil perfumed hangar. The dim moonlight seeped through a crack in the hangar doors, picking out, with an eerie glimmer, a shiny spinner. In October of 2012 my friend Bob and I flew our airplanes through 7 western states. During our 12 day adventure we covered a total of 4,053 statute miles. Zenith Aircraft Co. will host its second “Engine Day” at the company’s exhibit at AirVenture in Oshkosh on Thursday, August 1 from 10 am to 2 pm.
