Frank Tompson recently installed the dual control stick option kit in his STOL CH 750:

We were a little concerned about cabin access (getting in and out of the airplane) with the dual sticks but it appears not to be a problem. Here's a schematic of the system:

The STOL CH 750 dual control sticks option kit is very similar to the one we have used successfully on the Zodiac series aircraft for many years.
While I personally prefer the single stick mounted in the center of the cabin many builders and owners have preferred instead to mount dual sticks.

I'm torn on what option to go with on this one. I'm 6'3" 256 lb and would like the duel stick option so throttle can be in the center of the panel. Looks like another run to Oshkosh.

The option is a retro-fit option. It is possible to switch back and forth but will require drilling out rivets to fully remove the dual stick option's parts. It is possible to remove the passenger stick and only have the one pilot side stick or remove both sticks and reinstall the center 'Y' stick leaving the rest of the dual stick parts in place.

A nice - and robust looking - option: Having flown with all the different types (except the new C162 games console control), I find the center stick the most passenger friendly. Ladies especially feel comfortable and from a patient transfer perspective it makes life easier. However, the option to have dual sticks is good. How easy (or possible) is it to swap between the two systems should one desire that?
