Young Aviator
Sorry Guys, I got so excited about finishing I forgot to tell you about the young man in the photos.
This young 4 year old is the son of a contractor who recently did some remodeling for my wife and I, his mom and dad brought him to AirFest 2010 because he is crazy about airplanes, and let me tell you he gets EXCITED!!!!
It has been a long time since I have seen a kid get so excited watching aerobatics and airplanes in general, while he was watching Skip Stewart flop his bi-plane all over the sky he was jumping up and down, clapping his hands and laughing like there was no tomorrow, with a smile that went beyond his ears.
So Have hope fellows there are still kids interested in airplanes!

Have the same experience....my two year old little girl wants to be in the garage "helping" Daddy drill whenever she gets the chance. PS. Try riveting and/or drilling with a two year old in your arms at the same time...quite a challenge!

It is with kindness and willingness to share that we create tomorrows passionate aviators. I can honestly say that letting my 5 YO Son squeeze of the odd rivet, sit in the plane and make noises, and have a small piece of bent deburred .025" to call his own, has caught his interest enough to make him want to be in my shop most of the day with me. He uses my work computer in my office to surf the net and watch movies and comes out and asks 200 questions, checks my work, plays with my tools pretending he is working on the plane or fixing his quad bike. I realise that his first love is cars but I feel greatly privillaged to be able to share this experience with him.
