Zenith 750 Cruzer, Fixing landing gear problems

October 13, 2024

Zenit said - enlarge the main landing gear notches. The main spring is held in place by the rubber pads not by the steel bolts.
The idea is simple. The execution is difficult. A file is my best friend.
Still in progress.
Drilled the holes in the main landing gear support.

I wish mine were not predrilled. I usually prefer to use hand tools. As my tech counselor says: using power tools allows you to destroy a part quicker.

Weren't pre notched when I did mine. Used small hand held router with Dremel sheetrock bit. Worked well.
