Zenith 750 Cruzer, Rigging flapperons

Started adjusting the flapperons position and range.
All control rods have too long thread. I cannot screw the rod end up to the end. I cannot make the top edge of the flapperon bellcrank horizontal. The threads are about 10 mm long.
