Ouch!  I can't begin to tell you how upsetting it is to see fine aircraft reduced to such a state.  Even if they are insured, such planes are difficult to replace.  Each one represents someone's dream..........

I was reading the local news stories on this and I couldn't believe the comment/posted responses.

In fairness, I don't know for sure that they did, but I've always seen chains on these planes when driving/walking by them.

>> Second Guy:  Anybody that can afford those planes, can afford to get them fixed or replacement.

Really? Class warfare much? Besides, I don't know about most people on this list, but except for a small percentage, the folks I've meet are generally hardworking folks that have managed to fund a wonderful hobby and their love of aviation. Heck, even the small percentage of rather wealthy folks are all first generation and have just managed to build or sell successful companies. 

Just couldn't believe the first two responses to the local news stories came down to -- blame the victim; attack the victim.

By the way -- sorry for posting a Facebook link, but I couldn't find a way to mass upload files and I wasn't going to upload one by one. If anyone knows how I can share a group of photo easily outside on Zenith.Aero, would love to know ...

That hangar actually looked like that before the store.  Whoever was in that hangar moved out about a week ago and they left the hangar doors open.  All of the fallen insulation looked liked that before the storm.  Also the doors were propped open with sand bags.  The street sweeper was running the day before the storm and actually drove into the hangar trying to remove all of the dust.
