A lot of features in a small, lightweight package. Perhaps they'll be special pricing at Airventure.

Ditto Michael's comments ... and now it comes with an extremely high contrast white text-on-black background display screen that is far better than the original black-on-green screen! (The old units can be upgraded to the new display for a reasonable cost.)  The whole thing only weighs about 250 grams (8.8 oz) and you're getting a com radio and stereo intercom with music input.  I've had one for about 4+ years and it seems to be bulletproof - I've never heard a negative comment or of a problem.  It fits in a 2 1/4" instrument hole.  Matt at MGL (US) provides excellent customer service!  Usually at AirVenture you'll get free shipping and perhaps a discount ... it never hurts to ask!  ;>)

I don't think lack of a nav radio is a problem - most just gather dust, anyway as GPS dominates.  GPS technology advances so fast and is getting so cheap that a separate unit is not that expensive - in addition to my IFly 740 GPS (pictured above - with which I have had an equally good experience!), I have the iFly app on my phone as a backup and it works flawlessly using the phone's GPS and internal antenna!
