First trip in the Hudson River VFR Corridor

To make a long story short I bought my 601XLB to take lessons for my sport pilot license. I got that the beginning of last December. My instructor and I didn't do the airspace training or any flight following to avoid me getting tested on it. We had previously done the class B,C and D training and this trip was just to get me use to flight following and to see if we could get through the JFK class B. We flew from HWV on Long Island to 39N in NJ. On the way back my instructor asked if I wanted to fly up the Hudson. He explained the rules to me, what frequency to use and off we went Northbound on the East side. We turned around at the GWB and flew back South along the West side. Maybe my mom will want a tour.

Good for you. A 'Bucket List' item accomplished.

I did the corridor twice when I lived up in the northeast.  It was an awesome flight both times.

Hi I live 20 minutes from Hudson river and I ave my 650B on Allentown Pa KABE airport 1 and 1/2 hours driver .

I never Do this tour , is a mesy the view .

I will like flight on your airport same day.

Anytime you'd like to fly to Brookhaven(KHWV) just let me know. We could do a tour of Long Island, check out the rich and famous homes in the Hamptons.
