You almost always see the same comment in incident reports when a Zenith flips in a forced landing: "Pilot walked away with minor or no injuries!" Great testament to our pilots and to the structural integrity of Zenith aircraft!"

I hope that when he can, and if he wants to, he shares what happened so we may learn something from what happened. The recovery of the aircraft from such a remote location would also make an interesting story. Thankfully few of us have had to do so and no doubt there is much to learn about that process as well.

"The crash was caused by engine failure. The airplane has a Viking engine. Our meeting is tomorrow so I may learn more about the engine problem. The airplane is totaled. He said every piece of sheet metal on it is bent. He paid somebody $7000 to recover it with a helicopter."
