Zenith CH 750 N277CC first flight was perfect except for a heavy left wing. The Lycoming YIO-233 provided plenty of power and all temps were in line for the break-in of the engine. I can't wait to re-rig it and fly it again.

Below is a pix of my inboard flaperon tab.  It is in between the upper and lower flaperon skins.

I have a very slightly heavy left wing as well...I have seen a few pictures with a "trim tab" on the right aileron... I am thinking about trying this. I am a little lost about the dimensions the "trim tab" should be, anyone have some insight on this?

I had the same problem with my 701. This was caused by the side ways pull from the elevator cable on the elevator bell crank. I put a tab (bent down) on the right flaperon to take out part of the left heavy wing and then added a spring pulling down on the right flaperon control rod which through the upper flaperon bell crank pushed the right flaperon up which lowers the right wing to overcome the heavy left wing. I added a cable to control to the tension on the spring. This gives me roll trim.

Can’t wait to see her fly and maybe take a hop around the field.  Congratulations

Wayne,

That is an illusion. I had plenty of clearance.

Also, the bungee was bad and it was resting on the stop ring. Changed the bungee and everything is good now.

This is my first picture upload and i apologize for the orientation.
