Unusual question

Hey all!I have a bit of an odd request. I am running some early weight and balance calculations for my Cruzer to help me make my engine selection. One of the numbers I am missing is the arm for a typical UL350 installation. I'm trying to determine how far forward any specific point on the engine is from any specific point on the airframe. Cruzer with Viking 130 Weight

OK folks - I asked this question about 6 months ago and only got one answer. I would think there are several Cruzers flying with the Viking 130 by now, can you all tell us how you have your bird equipped, if it is painted, and what you ended up with for an empty weight.

Donald:  Thanks for the contact.  I have completed a Zenith 750 Cruzer with a Jabiru 3300 and Dynon Skyview avionics.  I had my DAR inspection in July and am now in phase 1 flight testing.  One of my friends, James Nichols(also on the Zenith Builders List) has just completed a 750 STOL with the Jabiru 3300.  Please let me know if you have questions or if I can assist.  My plane is in Anacortes, WA.  Tom

Hey, just remembered that you are in Madison WI.  Missed an opportunity: I was in Madison two Fridays ago. At the airport for a couple of hours.  Flying a Tecnam Astore (not my Ch750).  Still, it would have been nice to talk.

Love to support, cooperate or commiserate.

It is supposed to be educational, recreational and probably also humbling.

But also enjoyable and empowering, I would never have bought a prebuilt airplane.

I am surprised that I am not looking at an unopened Zenith box in the back is of the garage.

Well I have over 10 hrs flying now. All is going well. My right door some how opened at 1200 ft and 100 mph. That was a shocker. It ruined the door but we got down safely. I forgot to leave my phone number last time, 714-3281101. How is you build going?

Hi Donald,
Yes I have been building the Cruzer for over a year now. It has been a lot of fun. I made a few changes but mostly it is the plans. I went with the Viking engine,you can't beet a Honda. You can call me if you want. So far I am very happy with the Zenith product.
