FAA Medical Final Chapter!

About three years ago I applied for a third-class medical certificate to complete my training for a pilot's license. This is what I learned though (the hard way) for my three years of trying to provide the FAA with the information they requested and to have them issue that third-class medical ticket.I had a Mitro heart valve repaired about five years ago, according to the FAA this is acceptable and should not pose a problem in getting third class medical certificate. This is my story:Five years ago I had the Mitro valve in my heart repaired (repaired not replaced). According to the FAA regulation this should not exclude me from receiving a third class medical ticket. 18 months ago I applied for a third class medical as a student pilot. I was denied because of one medication I take, a blood thinner Which is required because of a stent that was used to repair a vessel that was damage due an injury. My doctor says that there is no reason I can't resume any and all activities with no restrictions.It took the FAA three months to respond with a letter requesting more information. Matco rims

After trying for the last couple of weeks to assemble the tires and rims I have given up. the O-rings supplied by Matco absolutely will not fit. It has two problems one it is way to small to go over the rim and two it is to stiff, even with three people pulling together we were unable to even get it close to where the instruction say it should be to reassemble the rim. Matco Rims!

After spending a very frustrating week trying to mount my tubeless tires on the Matco rims provided I have given up. The O-rings they supply for sealing the two halves of the rims together absolutely will not fit. Matco say to roll the O-ring over the rim to the flat at the edge of the rim, assemble the two halves and roll the O-ring back to the center of the rim and lubricate the O-ring and you should be good to go.
