FAA Medical Final Chapter!

About three years ago I applied for a third-class medical certificate to complete my training for a pilot's license. This is what I learned though (the hard way) for my three years of trying to provide the FAA with the information they requested and to have them issue that third-class medical ticket.I had a Mitro heart valve repaired about five years ago, according to the FAA this is acceptable and should not pose a problem in getting third class medical certificate. According to the FAA regulation this should not exclude me from receiving a third class medical ticket. 18 months ago I applied for a third class medical as a student pilot. I was denied because of one medication I take, a blood thinner Which is required because of a stent that was used to repair a vessel that was damage due an injury. My doctor says that there is no reason I can't resume any and all activities with no restrictions.It took the FAA three months to respond with a letter requesting more information. Matco Rims!

After spending a very frustrating week trying to mount my tubeless tires on the Matco rims provided I have given up. The O-rings they supply for sealing the two halves of the rims together absolutely will not fit. Matco say to roll the O-ring over the rim to the flat at the edge of the rim, assemble the two halves and roll the O-ring back to the center of the rim and lubricate the O-ring and you should be good to go.
