I have done it with my AMD built 601XL

Took brian and Carol's class. They travel around the country. Go to Rainbow Aviation website for more info.

There are two classes. A 16 hour for inspection of ELSA aircraft, and 120 hour class for SLSA Repairman.

I changed my SLSA to ELSA, took the 16 hour class.

An experimental can be worked on by anyone.

A SLSA has to be worked on by A & P or SLSA Repairman.

I haven't done it yet. My annual is due this month so I want to do it afterwards. I'll keep you posted.

Stan Cooper did it to his airplane. He's on this list so you could communicate with him. He sent me some good info.
