Hi

I have a Gen 1 3300 with 1 inch extension inside a  Jab USA FWF cowling set up.

Does  anyone know if the set up is the same and I won't have to modify the cowls due to the new design Gen 4 heads?

thanks

Chris

I have the "old design " cowl on my 750 STOL that had a gen 2. My gen 4 fits with no problem.  You likely will need to modify the ram air ducts' inlets to fit the cowl inlets but that's not difficult.

Did you have to trim the outside edges of the ram air ducts?  I forgot to ask/look when I was looking at your plane at the last open house.

Just had to trim the opening/inlets of the ducts and replace with riveted silicon baffle material that could conform to the fiberglass cowl's inlets.

What do you mean by 1" extension? Is the engine mount 1" longer?
