Routing fuel lines in 750SD cabin.

I'm installing a UL520T engine in my 750SD and trying to decide how I can route the fuel lines from the wing tanks, through the cabin to the header tank in the fuselage. As I want to keep a reasonable slope from the wing tank to the header tank, I don't see how I can do this without it passing by windows, etc. Unless I can figure it out it's going to be an unsightly mess. I'd appreciate hearing how others have routed their lines in the cabin to avoid this mess, better yet, would love to see…See More

Fuel Flow Transducers

Being from Canada I must have a Pre Cover inspection completed on my 750SD by the MD-RA and hope to have that completed within a week or so. I will then install the fuel tanks and consider installing the fuel senders as provided by Zenith - which in my opinion are inadequate for such a critical item. I've also read many threads both here and other forums on fuel sender problems.  I have a Seneca with a PSI Fuel Totalizer and seldom look at the unreliable fuel gauges.  I constantly compare…See More

Build Update and Engine Question

Fuselage is finished and working on the tail for my 750SD. I hope to have significant progress by end of this fall. Decided on a Dynon package and will probably be ordering it soon. That brings me to the engine and prop choices.  Although I spoke briefly with a couple of builders about engines at the beginning of the year, (thank you) and although the price gives me pause, I'm still considering the UL520T (UL520iST) engine.  With the passage of time I'm hopeful some folks may now have more…See More

Wow, the CH750SD is probably perfect fit for your needs and wishes. It should fit the bill and give you the extra performance and capacity you are seeking ,that the  Standard CH750 could never do. I have seen them building the kits here in the factory and it is Super Duty. The one they have as a demonstrater has the 375 hp engine? But there are lots of options you can use with this plane. Good luck with your building and keep me posted with engine and panel choices, that you decide on.

Hi Bob, I have flown both the CH750 STOL and Cruzer. My choice would be the Cruzer for the extra speed, but in your case STOL would the way to go? That being said it still a good kit to build and can be faster with the Quick Build option? There are some used ones for sale out your way I think? I my self would rather be flying than building, unless you can do both. Good Luck with your decision.
